The Student Advocacy Magazine

The print edition of the magazine can be found here.

Dear readers,

In our world today, there are so many issues that require our attention and action. From climate change to social justice, it can be overwhelming to think about how we can make a difference in our communities and beyond. However, it has been done before, and it can be done again. We believe that each and every one of us here at Hopkins has the power to inspire advocacy and change in the community around us.

The first step to inspiring advocacy is to educate ourselves and become informed about the issues that matter. We hope this magazine can become a resource for you to both learn about current issues and ways former Hopkins students have made tangible differences. Through these articles, you will learn about the power of community. By working together and collaborating with others, we can amplify our voices and create a greater impact than we could on our own.

However, it is also important to remember that every change has required time and persistence. It's easy to become discouraged and give up when we don't see immediate results, but we must remember that every action we take, no matter how small, is contributing to a larger movement of change and progress.

We encourage you to think about the issues that matter to you and the ways in which you can inspire advocacy and change in your communities. Remember, we all have the power to make a difference, and it's up to us to use that power to create a better world for ourselves and future generations.

Sincerely,

Sophia Park and Isabel Thomas
