If you’re staying in Baltimore this Fall Break, enjoy several fall festivities and the Baltimore Running Festival.  

Fall break is finally here, and it's a well-deserved reward for all your hard work. With the weather looking great — clear skies, sunshine and a comfortable breeze — you might already have plans to head out of Maryland. But if not, we've got some local events lined up for you to explore!

Friday

Pumpkin Patch Experience at Four Seasons, Four Seasons Hotel, Oct. 11–27, 5–7 p.m.

If you’re looking for autumn fun without the trek to a faraway farm, the Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore’s rooftop Pumpkin Patch is the place to be. Enjoy pumpkin picking, stunning city views and delicious seasonal bites. Note that paint-and-sip sessions are adults-only. Be sure to reserve your spot for weekend fun through OpenTable! Entry is $35 per person.

Maryland Fall Home & Garden + Craft Show, Maryland State Fairgrounds, Oct. 18–20, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.

For home renovation inspiration and holiday shopping, check out the Maryland Fall Home & Garden + Craft Show. Over 300 exhibitors and 100+ crafters will help you find the latest home and garden trends. Special guests include Ashley Morrill and Ryan Eldridge from Maine Cabin Masters, plus family-friendly activities like live animals and pickleball. Tickets are nine dollars at the door and seven dollars online. 

Saturday

Baltimore Running Festival, Inner Harbor, Oct. 19, 7:30 a.m.

Embrace the sunny, crisp fall weather with Baltimore’s 24-year tradition, the Baltimore Running Festival! It offers races for all abilities and exciting post-race festivities as runners tour the city. Whether you’re running or cheering, the outdoor energy is sure to be infectious!

Sykesville Main Street Fall Fun Festival, Sykesville Main Street, 12–4 p.m.

Join the fun at the Sykesville Main Street Fall Fun Festival, where crafts, food vendors and live entertainment abound. Don’t miss magic shows, a reptile demonstration and a stilt walker, with more activities at Millard Cooper Park accessible via shuttle.

Sunday

La Bohème, Stephens Hall Theatre at Towson University, Oct. 20, 3 p.m.

Experience La Bohème this Sunday at Towson University’s Stephens Hall Theatre. Set in 19th-century Paris and with Giacomo Puccini’s beautiful music, this timeless opera follows the loves and struggles of four friends. Tickets range from $50 to $120.
