Explore the many events going on this weekend, including trivia nights and romantic concerts. 

The first round of midterms and essays definitely calls for a relaxing weekend. Read on to find romantic getaways, fun workshops and events with friends!

Friday

Candlelight Concert, 8:45–9:45 p.m. 

Valentine’s Day is behind us, but there’s always a reason to show your love! This candlelight concert, featuring music from Queen and Mozart, is perhaps the most romantic show that you can bring your partner to. The show is one hour long, and tickets start at $41.

Basket Weaving Workshop, 10 a.m.–3 p.m. 

If you want to tap into your artistic side, the Manor Mill is hosting a basket weaving class this weekend. It’s a fun activity to explore with your friends with the added bonus of bringing home your own basket! 

Saturday 

Ethiopia at the Crossroads Performance, 2–4:30 p.m. 

The Walters Art Museum is hosting a celebration of Ethiopian culture featuring three performances with live music and bands. This is in complement to the Ethiopian exhibition on view until March 3. 

Peter Pan Theater Show

If you loved Neverland as a kid, you will definitely love the theatrical rendition of Peter Pan at the historic Hippodrome Theatre. This musical has been a fan-favorite for close to 70 years and is sure to bring delight to all ages! The show will run until February 25, starting at 8 p.m. every night with some afternoon options available as well.

Sunday

Charm City Trivia: Taylor Swift, 2–4 p.m.

Taylor Swift is taking over the world of entertainment with the Eras Tour and her Super Bowl cameos. Test your knowledge of the new Queen of Pop at the Guilford Hall Brewery trivia with your fellow Swifties.
