MFA Thesis Film 2021 Showcase Night One, Parkway Theatre (7 p.m. — 9:30 p.m.)
The Maryland Institute College of Art MFA Filmmaking Class of 2021 will present their thesis films virtually. This year’s theme is “In Place, Insight and In Time,” featuring three documentaries, an episodic pilot and three narratives. A live Q&A with the filmmakers will follow the pieces. It will be streamed live in partnership with the Parkway Theatre. The event will also run at the same time on Saturday night. Free.

Lovelyarns in Hampden is hosting a neighborhood-wide sidewalk sale. They will have a storefront sale table with deals and will host social stitching in their backyard. Masks required. Free.
MARS-A-PALOOZA returns!, MAP Technologies (12 p.m. — 10 p.m.)
MAP Technologies in Downtown Baltimore is hosting the return of its monthly video arcade night. This game night will feature a vaporwave ’80s aesthetic of retro games on a variety of devices. The event also will stream some games online. Masks required. $5 in person, free online.
BARCS Collab Release & Supply Drive, Full Tilt Brewing (1 p.m. — 4 p.m.)
Full Tilt Brewing and the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) are working together to support animals in need of a home at BARCS. Full Tilt Brewing is releasing the Snow Cat Pilsner and will be donating $1 per pint or four-pack of Snow Cat Pilsner and $5 per GalactiCat Plush sales to BARCS all day. BARCS will also collect donations from this list in exchange for drink deals. 21+. Free.
