Dr. Bridget Cooks and museum curator Morgan Dowty will discuss the significance of the museum’s exhibition “1939: Exhibiting Black Art at the BMA.” Gamynne Guillotte will moderate the panel. Free.

Little Italy Madonnari Arts Festival 2018

Little Italy

11 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Witness 51 artists demonstrate their talents, along with performances by over 100 musicians. Watch the artists as they chalk S. High Street. Free.

Karaoke Forever — First Friday Edition

The Crown

9 p.m. - 2 a.m.

Visit The Crown for a night of karaoke! Located in the Red Room. No cover.

Saturday

Dragon Boat Races

Baltimore Inner Harbor Rash Field

8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Twenty-eight teams and over 600 paddlers are competing in the biennial Dragon Boat Race. The event, sponsored by Hamel Builders, will raise funds for programs for Baltimore and Central Maryland residents. Free.

Hampdenfest 2018

West 36th Street 

11 a.m. - 7 p.m. 

Visit Hampden for the annual Hampdenfest neighborhood festival! Over 20 bands performing, pie and wings eating contests, toilet races, and more. Free.

NYC Comedy Invades Baltimore 

Joe Squared

7 p.m. - 9 p.m. 

New York stand-up comedians are visiting Baltimore! Witness performances by Jordan Raybould, Bret Raybould and more. $10 online, $15 at the door.

Sunday

ohGr Tricks Tour 2018 

Baltimore Soundstage

7 p.m.

Hear industrial band ohGr perform old and new hits, including those from their latest album, TrickS. Lead Into Gold, Omniflux, DJ Hemlock open. $25 online, $28 at the door.
