In the second death of a Hopkins student in as many weeks, sophomore Dominic Ferrara was found deceased in his Wolman Hall dorm room Monday just after midnight, according to Baltimore City Police spokesperson Nicole Monroe.
In a security report released early Monday, university officials wrote that "there were no signs of foul play," but did not specify any more details about the case.
The report noted that various university officials, including the Dean of Student Life and the Director of Security came to the scene early Monday.
Police officials declined to specify the cause of Ferrara's death pending an autopsy that should be completed in the next day or two. But those close to the investigation said that evidence found at the scene indicated that Ferrara's death may have been a suicide.
